About Mofflings
Mofflings are a type of 'dragon' for lack of a better term. There's no way to pinpoint where they came from, or where they're going, but they sure are fluffy. While they cannot use magic to levitate, transform, or shapeshift, they make up for it in being cute and fluffy and can end up growing very big depending on what kind of moff they are!
Unlike many 'dragons', who prefer to be alone, mofflings are more community-oriented creatures. Some may form family units, groups, communities, and even kingdoms can form over time! Some may prefer simply being on their own as well. Every moff is different!
Chitter Chatter
Mofflings can speak normally, and can learn any language with time. There is, however, a shared language of; clicks, squeaks, hissing, and body language. This includes using their tails and antennae to outwardly express emotion.

Some moffs prefer talking, some only use their special language, but most are okay with both!

Pitter Patter
Moffs can use their wings to fly, create gusts of wind, or simply use them as a big blanket for warmth as they're covered in soft fur! They like to share their warmth with eachother via cuddles.

They may also use their strong claws to grip and climb structures, dig, use objects, and of course use simple sign language.
Munch 'n' Crunch
A moffling's diet simply depends on what they deem to be delicious. They can eat almost anything without dire repercussions due to their strong digestive system.
Their sharp teef can cut through most things while their long tongue can get through openings to grab those hard to reach flavors such as nectar or tree sap... or glue for some reason.

Age progression
Mofflings, being part dragon, seem to age slower than other creatures. They often live quite long (and fulfilling) lives, gradually growing larger, stronger, and of course wiser with age!

They are egg-laying creatures. While the parents usually lay them, in some cases community nurseries may host a number of different eggs as the community or family unit takes care of them together.

Eggs take about 80-100 days to hatch. They're usually very light colors with a jelly consistency. Infertile eggs are often darker and more saturated in color.

(Age 1-12)
Baby moffs emerge very hungry! This is their caterpillar stage. They don't have their permanent fur and colors here as eating and learning is their main goal.

(age 13-14)
When mofflings are ready to start their transformation, they gather whatever materials they like and create a cocoon for themselves.
Other moffs may help with the building process as a gesture of love and deep trust. They stay in their cocoons until they are ready, which can be between 2 months up to 1 year.

(age 14+)
When they're ready and hatch from their cocoons they'll now have their permanent colors and fluff! Endlessly curious, they will continue to grow from here!

If their cocoon is opened before they're ready, however, troubles may occur...

(age ???)
As they get older, they settle into their personal styles and personalities, maybe decorate themselves in things they like.
They may continue to grow from here.

(age ??? OLD???)
As they get even older, their dragon traits kick in full gear and their fluffiness level goes into overdrive! They may develop more colors, fur patterns, grow more antennae, learn how to crochet, who knows! Everything gets lonnnng and they may stop growing... eventually... maybe..?
